Mubasher: Bank Muscat said its shareholders approved 25% cash dividends, or 25 baisas per share, for fiscal year 2016, according to a bourse statement.

The shareholders gave the go-ahead to 5% bonus shares on a 5-for-100 basis.

As a result, the company’s capital will increase from 2.5 billion shares to 2.62 billion shares worth 100 baisas per share.

The bank’s capital amounts to OMR 249.63 million, distributed on 2.5 billion shares at OMR 0.10 per share.
